Hmmmm, some of the replies are appreciative and some are kinda rough, almost mean. I was just trying to post a picture and was proud of my accomplishment (even tho I had some help). And, in my own defense, I didn't say: rare. I said: semi-rare and to me that meant a bit out of the ordinary. In regard to the lower part of the grill, to my knowledge the '39s and early H's were NOT different. This one has never had that part of the grill removed to attach a cultivator. And, yes the platforms were indented to accommodate the seat. Some people call it a hog trough. I can tell you from experience after going over a bump, when that seat goes down again and bottoms out it can be felt all the way up the spine! kelly
