Looking at the pictures it looks like the loader geometry is different. Looks like the Ford loader arms are longer from the cylinder pin to the rear arm pivot pin. That alone accounts for a lot of speed. Larger bore cylinder would get you more capacity, and slow it down, but you would think that it was engineered to get the most from its weakest point.
