With oil it will take a lot more radiator cooling space and a lot more oil to cool the same engine cooled with antifreeze coolant. I had an oil cooler go bad leaking into the cooling system on the semi one time. I could hardly keep it below 200 degrees with the fan on full time by the time I got home to change it. Once changed it would stay under 200 at the 180 figure unless I was pulling heavy in hils or up mountains then I would flip the switch to keep the fan running full time. I usally did that from March to November anyway. Just let the fan clutch cool it during the winter
