Having a bit of trouble removing the inside bearing and race from 1963 JD 1010 RU. Looks like race should be driven out via tool from hole in front of wheel. Hitting it pretty hard and not getting any movement. Looks like old race is starting to bend. Want to make sure this is the correct approach before I hit harder. Since new bearing, race and seal are being installed it is OK to ruin old race but I obviously don't want to damage the wheel itself. Currently using a big flathead screwdriver to knock out old race. Old bearing itself is so worn it is flopping around inside the old race and cannot be used to drive out assembly.
