If moisture (from any source) interferes with your haying operation you can not spend better money than to buy a Tedder and ted right after cutting, maybe more than once if need be. I farmed for 25 years without one not knowing of their existence (subject never came up on my news sources including this one) or effectiveness. Absolutely blew my mind what it can do to get a wet field dry enough to bale using one even if you use a crimper type cutter......which in itself is priceless if you have stemy material to bale.......still could use a Tedder behind it if need be.
