How does it ..shut down..? There is essentially nothing in the diesel injection system that will turn the tractor off because the engine is hot. It should keep going until a piston seizes in a cylinder and locks the engine. Is there steam blasting out of the radiator cap like a tea kettle? The gauge tells you it is hot? If it is not boiling or steaming you are going to have to find a way to verify it is hot. Get a hand held IR temp gun they are about $20 and then see what it shows. Or if it is that hot you should be able to see water sizzle when you flick it on the upper part of the block under the heads with your finger. I am thinking that your fuel filters are the problem.
