cropdusting with helicopters is gaining in popularity in parts of KS since they can spray small fields like they have in eastern KS. In western KS where there are fields up to one mile square (particularly in far western KS like around leoti or Garden) it is more effective to use an ag plane and there are dozens of those outfits around.
