Here's a few before pictures the way psimmer found it in all it's working glory and the same angle today. I went to put the decals on this morning and one is missing for each side. There should be a white stripe the full length of the hood behind where it says Oliver. It looks awful plain without it. I called Joy and she said she'd send them right out. It'll be eating at me until they're on there.
One thing about it, it has the original draft sensing center link. Those are all but impossible to find if it's missing. It's got a lot of paint flaws and a few incorrect parts, but let somebody who's ever seen one before point that out. I'm keeping my mouth shut.
After I got done with my first 500, I said I'd never tie in to one of these David Brown built Olivers again, but it gets easier every one that I do. I know where to get parts now and what mistakes will be covered up when it's all put together.
