I have an 8N and a MF202. Sometimes I put the mower on either tractor. I always use height stabilizer chains with my Woods M5 mower. Both tractors have working position control but I figure why make the tractors work to keep that mower at the same level? So I use the stabilizer chains. You can always raise the mower higher if needed with the touch control.
