You can't miss what you never had. On the productivity improvement you hear about and haven't heard any explanations per se, whatever else may get mentioned no doubt the internet is orders, that's orders of magnitude over anything that might get get mentioned.....at least comparing it to being restricted to sales folks and something like the Thompson Register set of hard backs.
