I listen to a local radio station here in my town in Michigan. At the top of the hour there is a short state and national news segment. On the state news the authorities are asking that people refrain from having a fire in their woodstoves and fireplaces so as not to contribute to the already smokey haze. It is 85 degrees here in Michigan today and will be in the 80's and low 90's for the next week.
I don't think too many people are going to be having a fire in their stoves or fireplace with this weather but seeing as how this advice is coming from our elected leaders I am not surprised.
