Yup some older tires were the US royal company then later became the Uniroyal tire. Had a local dealer for them back then. Not sure with the way things have changed if they are still a dealer for them or not. They also had a so-called self sealing tire back then was called the royal seal or something like that. They used to have a billboard along I-94 near Ecorse road in the metro Detroit area that had a tire with a nail in the top to show the self sealing part of it. I think it was called puncture proof or something later on.
