I still have a couple of Case garden tractors. One 446 waiting on me to find time to put a new carb on it and another project, 644 loader. I now mow with a ZTR, but have never found a mower/deck combo that cuts at evenly and smooth as the Case models. Floating on the rear wheels rather than hanging from the frame makes a huge difference. Just not fast enough. Even my little diesel JD with 60 deck is much slower than the ZTR. It's not ground speed, as there is less than 1MPH difference in top speed, just instant turns and direction changes make the difference.
