Those round plywood grain bins were popular here in the sixties. I had the fun of shoveling grain out of them occasionally. You had to be young and agile to be able to climb out the tiny door past the grain auger tube. The roofs eventually gave out and I have even seen one burst open when the side sheets got weak. They had a steel band or two around for extra strength.
