Dad made a winder out of some old steel posts and a pipe or something like it for a hub. Then turns it by hand for some of the wire. I was looking at an old buzz saw for the set up then clamp a wheel in the part where the blades was tighten nut and drive it hydraulically to slow it down and to use easier than the buzz saw. Other thought was to use a hub form a wagon spindle with a sprocket and hydraulic motor and a flow control valve for speed control. I figured old junk wheels would work and then could either reuse the wire or junk the whole thing.
