My mom always cut our hair, all she would do were the short butch cuts. A few years after the Beatles showed up, longer hair became the norm. Ninth grade junior high was the last time I've had a short haircut. When Covid came around couple of years ago and barbershops were closed, I dug out our old animal clippers and gave my head the Yul Brynner treatment! Significant other said, no more of that! My mom used to cut a lot of our neighbors hair, I think she charged $2 and always had sweet rolls and coffee ready for them afterwards. Good times, good memories. Beagle
