Was having trouble starting and keeping a kohler running on a water well pump jack in a pasture that doesn't have electric in it. Saw that HF had a little horizontal shaft 5.5 or something like that on sale for $99 so thought it would cost me more than that to get the kohler fixed. Have been using it for about 4 years now, year round. Have to pump water for these cattle daily and it has been OK with the only little quirk it has that it won't continue to run sometimes unless the choke is left on for maybe 5-10 minutes then it will straighen out and run great. Also always seems pretty easy to start even in zero F weather. I would buy another one if I needed it.
