The particular one you have pictured, yes. It's an earlier version of the Milwaukee. A new one with a brushless motor will be better.

Cut things you'd cut with a hacksaw. I keep one around with a flap wheel to prepare metal for welding, make a spot for the ground clamp, knock down the boogers, etc..
