I Have a jetstar, jetstar2 and jetstar3. All three use an automotive spin-on filter. I am wondering if your engine or oil pump was exchanged for one from a 445 or 335. Its also very likely that a pump from a Z, ZA, or ZB would fit too.
Anyhow, I know on Ebay they offer oil filter adapters from the Z, ZA, ZB tractors. If your oil pump is from a 445, I don't know if these would work.
Another alternative would be to find a good used oil pump from a Jetstar, 4star, Jetstar2 or Jetstar3.
My Jetstar3 will steer with the engine off, but if it sits long enough all the oil eventually leaks from the steering gear back to the reservoir and then you loose the steering with the engine not running.

After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
