Yes, I've used it to seal the inside of the hood of my 850. The idea was to seal it from all future rust. The sheet metal had been sandblasted first and cleaned. Then POR-15 was brushed on with 2 light coats. I surprised how it leveled itself out. I then put a coat of their primer over the POR-15 so that it would accept paint, primed and then PPG's Omni. It is sealed. I know it may have been overkill, but it is sealed up. It's been 10 years now and still looks good with no sign of rust. I also used it on the underside of a mower deck. After cleaning and prep I put on 2 coats. Though it is a hard paint, it didn't hold up, chipped and peeled. I imagine the conditions of mowing were to extreme for it to hold up. was worth a try though.
