My uncle had a short version of that as a water storage for the farm. Above ground cistern I guess, which is odd for our climate in Minnesota. Dad bought it at the auction and used the wood from it, as well as the rods to hold a building of ours together. I was a little kid really, I dont remember where the wood was used, but the building is still standing that the rods are holding the top from spreading.
