Last December I tore my 1550 apart, using lots of oil. I had the head worked on,valve guides were shot and all new valves. Had the crankshaft polished and new bushings in the rods and new pins. Got it all back together today and after turning the distributor just a bit it fired right up and ran great. Hooked up the auxiliary fuel cell and pulled it out and washed it off. I still have to replace the quad ring in the steering and then can finish it up. Happy camper tonight!!
