Heading to Missouri tomorrow to pick up a wide front for my WD45 Allis Chalmers. I asked the Wife to go with me but she says a 3 hour ride one way isn't her idea of fun. She's staying home to clean the house, claims she gets way more done when I'm not at home.
I'm thinking about hitting an auction on the way back though. There's one that has a 620 John Deere that looks like it's been sitting outside quite a while and 3 old cars. Could be interesting.
Thought about calling my buddy but if he's along he'd want to buy everything at the auction. He had 17 M Farmalls a quarter of a century ago and he's been buying steadily ever since, I watched him buy 21 tractors at one auction, I worry about him sometimes.
