Just the opposite here in Western Canada. DC4s and all other Case were common and tricycle front tractors were rare. A few found their way here post WWII when new tractors were in short supply and dealers could sell any they could get their hands on. My uncles got a DC3 like that in the late 40s. They eventually got the necessary parts to convert it to a wide front. Here is a photo of it in narrow front form.
