YEA , everything is going this way . I had to give 120 and change for what looked like two bicycle wheel bearing only they go into a Ross steering box on a flippen garden tractor and i found nothing to match anywhere. Now and yea many years back a tach or speedometer cable plus the ends USE to be at EVERY MAW AND PAW parts store and you could BUY what you needed in the size you needed and the end and make it up at home with the use of either a HAMMER or a bench vise to crimp the ends on . Even well into the 80's you could find what you needed . BUT then along came PROGRESS and the fine new way or electronic's and the need for cables went away. Now one may try looking at some places that deal wit old cars and truck , old truck dealers they just might have what you need on some old dusty shelf.
