Hit and miss for me. Most of the ones I bought for chainsaws work well. There was one that was enough different that it didn't fit but I was able to rob the diaphragm off it to make the factory carb work again.
The one I bought for the golf cart worked well at first but the needle started sticking open. I can't find anything wrong when the carb is opened up but when it's assembled the needle sticks unless you jiggle the carb. I've also had bad luck with carbs I bought for an old Honda 3-wheeler. The carb I bought for my generator was only kind of similar but I was able to use some parts off it.
