I may be the odd 29 year old who loves old rusty junk. I watch pretty much all the online auctions near me. There is some GOOD stuff that does go scrap cheap but usually it is a 3hr drive each way or they dont have loading assistance I still come home with my share of junk but it seems like the stuff that brings scrap price BELONGS in the scrap pile as sad as it is. It seems like about anything decent now days goes sky high though.
As easy as it is to point the finger at youngins not wanting the equipment, there are more old timers that abused equipment, set it out to rust away and sent it to scrap themselves!
