I saw an unstyled B John Deere the other day that is coming up at a local auction. I went to look at it and it is not stuck. I did not try to start it as no one was around. It had no petcocks so it really turned hard. Is this a certain year that this is the case? What was the reason for this? Was this the same era as the "open fan shaft"
IFFFFF I bought this tractor, could I take the block off drill them in? Is there a "jerry rig" to accomplish this without disassembly? All thoughts are welcome. Any ideas on a fair price to pay?
