I have 504 NI loaders on JD 3010 and 4010. One came off a 656 and the other off a Massey 175. I had to modify the mounts for both somewhat, but not majorly. The dump cylinders have been replaced with common hydraulic cylinders on both. Lift cylinders are a different story, harder to find substitutes.
Most used NI I have seen sell are in the $500-750 range if all there. A new one might be $1800-3000 if it has usable mounts (cheap compared to current models), but I suspect a New Idea might have limited appeal in the general market. OTOH, you already have experience with one. Your call. If it was me, I really would be all over a new one if offered.
