JD 43, I'm going to chime in with absolutely no help. Since you started on this site a very short time ago, you've gotten a lot of good advice, and followed most of it. I sense you have a good head on your shoulders and can figure out what parts of this advise will work best for you. Doing partial cleaning and painting in the hard to reach spots, with brush on oil base enamel before any assembly should work well in your situation. Don't worry about doing it all at once.
