I am replacing a few blades on flail mower. The new blades need to have a different bend. If I heat the blade at the bend, and make the correct bend. will the blade lose it's hardness, or get brittle, at the bend area? The cutting edge never gets red. All the heat is in the bend area. I heat the area, and make the bend then in the water. 45 seconds max. Any thoughts? Stan
