The crusher unit doesn't show any abuse or cracks. Has been sitting in same spot for 30 years. There are some rocks in the jaws... no one knows the working condition. Did some kids toss the rocks in and try to crush them by hand...? Did the machine jam up and that was the last time it was used..? Could I assume these things were built like tanks and rarely had issue.
GREAT NEWS... A knowledgeable fellow on the Smokstack was able to dig thru some literature and tie the #12 Crusher to the model #612 crusher. Doing a little research now to see if the 612 was a later model number for the same equipment.
