Tractor House, Equipment Facts, and other such tractor sites are good places to start to get the "I know what I have. No lowballers," value for your tractor.
There's an MF 50 on Tractor House right now that looks to be in similar condition to yours going by the pictures. It's a dealer, and they're asking $6900.
Should you expect to get $6900 out of yours? Not even close. MF 50's are hardly "hot" collectible machines right now, if they ever were or will be.
Half that is more realistic.
I would not suggest consigning it to an auction unless you KNOW what kind of auction it is. Avoid auctions with reputations as "junk auctions." You'll get scrap price.
