What do you mean made out of pipe the Interstate in WY has just white lines painted on the pavement for a cattle guard at the entrance and exit ramps to keep cattle off the highway. Saw it right at the Fling J exit and the rip off griffins exit both out in the middle of no ware pretty much. My dad made one out of wood using 4x4's I told him they were to far apart. On cow carefully walked across it by stepping down between the 2x4 cross pieces. He dismantled it after that and would not use or make another for that use. Cattle will cross them if spooked or forced. Ive seen some that had the gate on a swivel with a bevel so to speak so the gates would swing back after the tractor was through the gateway. This was for feed lots at dairies.
