I hear ya. I got corralled into going a fancy-pants restaurant ONE time.
I didnt recognize anything on the menu except something that had ''Fish'' in the title, so I ordered that. I thought, how can you screw up an order of what I assumed would be some Fish & Chips? When the ''Maitresse'' returned (without the ketchup I asked for...), I ended up with an Entire Flounder, burnt on the outside, raw on the inside and swimming in what looked like pea soup with mustard swirled in. Apparently they also had cooked it by an open window while the landscapers were mowing because it even had grass clippings stuck to it! Even worse, they kept trying to give me some drink called ''Pee-no Gree-gee-oh'' instead of the Mountain Dew I asked for!
If this is what rich people eat, I'm glad I'm poor.
On the way home I stopped at the first Burger King I saw..
