I spent many an hour on one of those rear seats. Certainly made hand hoeing easier and faster. Worked good on wide spaced plants such as tomatoes and the type of tobacco that my father grew where the plants were 2' or more apart. We would cultivate with the Farmall Super A with the wiggle hoe attachment and then go through on foot hand hoeing around each plant, usually twice in the early season. Those attachments were quite common in our area. We had the hoes as pictured, as well as a set of knives that would interchange, depending on the weeds and soil conditions. Some in our neighborhood had Allis G's set up with foot steering so one person could both drive and run the wiggle hoe. The BTOs at the time had 2 row cultivators with 2 of those on the back!
