I love plowing and do about 3 areas per year plus a sizable garden usually using my Farmall M and 3-14 JD plows from the 1950's. I would like to one day take one of my smaller tractors to what around is called just plow days where people basically show up to just play with their toys. I would not like to be in an actual competition where someone can tell me the furrows aren't straight, plowing too deep or not deep enough, not pretty enough furrow, etc. My plowing is plenty good enough once working up the field is done to grow a good crop even though I don't plow as deep as some people and certainly can't mark out a perfect first pass. I've never heard the crop complain.
