I've pulled a 4 bottom behind a Farmall M. It works but it's a load for that tractor. I don't know of any plowing events around me. There are a few antique tractor pulls but it seems that you have to be a part of the good old boys club and newbies aren't generally accepted. Heaven forbid one of the new guys actually wins the competition! The GOBs throw a tantrum and cry foul and accuse the winner of cheating. I know one guy who used to only go to pulls he knew he would win. If he thought someone else was going to have a chance he wouldn't enter. That's the way it is around here anyway. Maybe that's what happens at plowing events too?
