Surprised they could get C18 for this project. Versatile already occupies the bottom end of the 4wd tractor market already so there really is no unoccupied niche in this space. A Versy has a Cummins mated to the Cat transmission right now and is as basic a tractor that would sell. Prices are getting more reasonable on equipment now that interest rates are higher and demand as slowed. Can't see a Bud being much cheaper than a Versy and Big Equipment is a Versy dealer.
