There are lots of reasons to like or dislike any tractor. I dislike all the N series over the stupid idea of the PTO and 3 pt are linked for being able to lift. The Light front ends in both the Fords and Fergie's were a problem in some cases. All the foreign models for parts availability. IHC for the puny hydraulic pumps in them after the 60 series with low pressure hydraulics onlty being in the 1500 range till the 66 series then upped them to the 2000 pressure Should have been in the 2500=3000 with at least a 20 GPM pump in them. Deere seemed like New Holland to me. IF there was a complicated way to make something they found it for some things. The cases I was around with the hand clutch was like those poorly designed on the Deere with a push lever while you are trying to look back to see the drawpin hole for hitching seems to stupid like that. Cat was the best hand clutch with it pulling back so you could see just tractors and parts are awful expensive for them. With a lack of dealer support in recent years the Oliver Allis and those that have fallen under the Agco umbrella seem to be lacking there. There are more things that I missed on all of them too.

Some purist I'm sure will disagree to no end with what I will tell you but most of us out here in the real world don't really care do we ? Some of them only bring their noses down out of the air long enough to look down them anyway. If you are like me you are only doing this old tractor stuff because you enjoy it. You
