My Grandma was on a farm all her life. Wore long dresses and a bonnet out side. She worked inside the house and outside with those long dresses. Wore sandals with leather straps. Her hair came down to her ankles when she let it down. She wore it in a bun all the time except just before bedtime. She would let it down and comb it out every night. Washed her hair once a year. It was never dirty or oily. And she would slop the hogs and milk the cow in her long dress. Lived to be 91. Hardest working woman I have ever known. Richard in NW SC
