From the online parts books it appears a couple different load shafts were used. One being called heavy duty. It appears the bushings, O-rings, seals etc. were different between them. You should talk with the supplier and review the dimensions of your old shaft and sealing components, sounds like you may have the regular shaft and they sent the heavy duty one.
The parts page I looked at. Read the illustrations available notes. Also notice there are a couple choices for some of the same item key numbers in the shaft area.
