I supervised an automatic transmission component manufacturing department for GM Hydra-Matic. My one jobsetter had worked 6 months 7 days a week. I asked him what day the next week he was taking off. He said he wasn't. I told him that he would either take a personal day off or that I would throw him out on a madeup shop rules violation. We joked about it later. He didn't know what to do all day at home with 4 kids. BTW During his time working for me he was awarded 2 maximum suggestion awards of $20,000 each in one year. Find me a snowflake to do all that!
