I dont see why an 80 h p tractor wouldnt do the job. But when u compare an 80 h p new tractor to my old 660 which is 87 h p. The new tractor will be struggling while I wont. So u need to give a tractor make and model also. For example my neighbor bought a new john Deere in the over 30 h p range. I know it will not pull what my old w4 will pull at around 30 h p also. So h p is not an accurate judgement here . The old h p is in Clydesdales and the new h p is in Shetland ponies.
