After staggering through snowbanks all over my yard for what seems like weeks I finally got the JD 2140 and snowblower going this afternoon and made the yard passable. Did not get to the driveway yet. I must say the little diesel started up real well at +5F. Four hours of block heater plugged in of course. I was thinking of this old photo from almost exactly 50 years ago showing me using the Cockshutt 50 and nine foot blade to clear the yard.
