Is there any recycle value for these old media tanks? The system I replaced had two of them. They are about 100 Lbs. each and if not I will set them up as targets and get some satisfaction out of blasting them. That system was a pain in my side for the last year or so. Wish I had replaced them sooner, the new AO Smith unit is so much nicer. At least it was somewhat warm in the crawl space and getting them out did work up a sweat.
Other question, is the media toxic if I do blow them apart?
