1w-hr = 3.412 BTU times 9 = about 30 BTU per hour. Very little heat. I started using a 60 watt bulb. Too much heat. Went to 25 watts. still too warm. 9 watts is perfect. As you said some heat is generated by the chargers. Bottom line it works. All made using FREE used parts. Costs pennies to power. Cordless batteries shouldn't freeze. Cordless batteries won't charge when it's cold. Tape works better. JB WELD doesn't freeze. Cats water doesn't freeze. Save me trips to the house. Its just an idea I thought I would share.
