But, as for your apology about the high priced hay, I remember reading that, and thinking this guy has no idea what's going on in other parts of the country. Seemed kind of like an open mouth and insert foot moment to me. Sometimes I think a guy forgets about how broad of an area this web-site covers. And one should remember that before barking something out on here. Just because they are giving hay away in your neighborhood, doesn't mean that it isn't completely different somewhere else.
The trucking on hay is expensive. A different hay market might only be 2 or 3 hundred miles away. Especially when there is drout zones.
