When we bought our first Tree Farmer dad looked at the Pettibone skidder which had crab steering. They could drive Stright down the road sidewise. We also looked at Ford's Blue Ox. It came down to the Timberjack or the Tree Farmer. The Tree Farmer dealer offered a test drive, although he said he had never had to take one used onsite back to his place. That C4 stayed at the job site, one FMD went home with the dealer and the other came home to the farm. I spent a lot of hours on that FMD, it was kind of spooky driving a tractor that had killed someone.
