I think you are right. DETROIT New vehicles sold in the United States will have to travel an average of at least 40 miles per gallon of gasoline in 2026. 2026 isn't that far away. I think that includes cars, suv, minivans and small trucks.
I had a student get an engineering degree and worked for Honda in Japan. He said many years ago, cars and minivans in Japan had very small engines, 1000cc or 1200cc I don't remember.
Be interesting to see what happens in the USA.
Will the highway safety stop this claiming smaller cars are too dangerous?
